It's rather difficult to pigeon-hole Alison as an artist.  Equally as comfortable standing in front of an orchestra as she is working as a background vocalist in the studio, there are few airs and graces about Ali. Her bubbly Australian outlook on life is present in any work she undertakes.

Alison trained at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Australia. She would always attend musicianship classes but quite often chose to skip Opera Workshops in favour of “jamming” with the jazz ensemble.  Alison is more than just a singer.  She’s a musician who prefers to embrace as many genres of music as possible.

Alison left Australia in 1987, and moved to England as a member of the Australian girl group The Fabulous Singlettes (video on right).  The group enjoyed three West End seasons in their show Stop in The Name of Love and enjoyed great success in the UK before disbanding in the early nineties. By this time, Alison had officially made England her home.  She now resides in Hertfordshire with her husband and two children.
