Alison trained classically in voice & piano at The Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Australia, moving to London in 1988 as a member of the Australian girl group The Fabulous Singlettes.  They starred in their show STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE in the West End on 3 separate occasions, recorded numerous television specials and supported Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey before disbanding five years later. Alison has called the UK home for the past 27 years.

She has numerous West End credits to her name but is best known for her poledancing role in JERRY SPRINGER THE OPERA (Royal National Theatre / Cambridge Theatre) for which she received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical in 2004.  She reprised the role at The Sydney Opera House in Australia and in 2013 was invited to reprise her role for the Royal National Theatre's 50th anniversary. More theatre credits.

Alison has released three solo CD’s: Simply, Forgiveness’ Embrace and In Your Eyes: Live at Pizza on the Park, all of which are available via the Ali's Online Shop and on iTunes.

Alison has numerous musical strings to her bow and dislikes being pigeon-holed. Every week is different for Alison, guesting for a symphony orchestra one week, presenting her one-woman show to 75 people the next, singing in a gay club or on a television commercial or film soundtrack the next. That's how she likes it. Variety is key!

In 2012, Alison created The Frank & Ella Show celebrating the music of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. The show is currently on a sabatical, with Alison concentrating on new ventures, but visit our website here.

In 2013, Alison achieved her ambition of singing with Grammy award winning Christian artist David Phelps, duetting with him at the IndigO2 in London.  She is currently working on an inspirational album.

Alison lives in Hertfordshire in England with her partner and two children.
