It is important to Alison that her music is not confined to one genre. Whilst heavily influenced by Christian music, Alison's music is accessible to people of all faiths, embracing music that gives hope and caresses the soul.

Alison funded her album through KICKSTARTER in 2015 and would like to thank everyone who pledged/donated towards the album. "I couldn't have done it without you!"

It was quite a journey getting here, but in the end I got to make the album I wanted to make: MY choice of producer, MY creative team, MY musicians, MY choice of songs.

I am so grateful.

"In January 2010, my father was diagnosed with Alzheimers. Before flying back to Australia, I booked a day in a friend's studio to record a selection of traditional hymns to take to my father as a gift. It was then that I realised what I was truly placed on this earth to do. I have always been drawn to material of an inspirational nature, but this was something different. Singing this music did something to me. I felt a purity and a grace that I'd never encountered before."

Alison has always had a strong connection with religious music and has been influenced by more contemporary Christian singers like Sandi Patty, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Kirk Franklin & The Family and Yolanda Adams. More recently, Alison was introduced to the work of American Christian singer David Phelps and flew to Belfast to see him perform. It only confirmed that the gift she had been born with was a gift she was destined to share. Meeting Phelps inspired her to continue on this path.

Fast forward to 2013 when, through a friend who was a producer, Alison was asked to perform a duet with David Phelps at the IndigO2 in London. David and Alison formed a musical connection which she hopes will see them reunited at some point in the future.
